Friedrich Albert von Waldthausen (* 24. May 1834 in meals; "† 12 January 1924 in meals) was a banker, a city historian and a member of the familyfamily family Waldthausen.

After commercial training it created 1859 in meal a banking transaction. He took part in numerous mine enterprises.

In the year 1890 the historical association for city and pin meal registered association was created. One the joint founder was Albert von Waldthausen. Long years was responsible it for the office of the treasurer. it donated an amount to 1906 of 30.000 DM, in order to have exempted that active to as a by-job city archivist, Dr. Konrad Ribbeck, for three years from the school service. On a scientific basis it should regenerate the "“history of the city meal"”. The part of I appeared 1915 in the publishing house Baedeker. Starting from 1909 Albert von Waldthausen received the honorary membership. To the processing of the city and family history he contributed with numerous publications:

• Contributions for the history of the family Waldthausen (1884)
• To the history of traffic conditions in city and pin meal (1903)
• To the history of the postal service in city and pin meal (1903)
• Contributions for the history of the family Huyssen (1906)
• and many individual publications

He found its last on the Bredeneyer cemetery.
