Alfred Paul Ernst baron von Oppenheim (* 5. May 1934 in Cologne; "† 5 January 2005 in Cologne) was a German private banker.

Oppenheim, descendant of Salomon Oppenheim, which created 1789 Kreditinstitut in Bonn and 1798 shifted it to Cologne, studied until 1960 in Amherst and Harvard. 1964 he became personally responsible partner of the Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA, 1978 he took over the guidance of the partner committee. Since 1993 he was a chairman of the shareholder committee and the supervisory board of the bank.

Oppenheim was also vice-president of the German industrie and Chamber of Commerce daily (DIHK), president of the French-German Chamber of Commerce in Paris and president of the German society for foreign policy in Berlin. It created the Alfred baron of Oppenheim donation for the promotion of the science.

1997 let Alfred von Oppenheim a chair for the study of the Antisemitismus, racingism and the Holocaust at the memorial place Yad Vashem in Jerusalem furnish.

On 14 October 2004 the earnings/service medal of the country North Rhine-Westphalia was lent to it. He was an honour senator of the university to Cologne, carrier of the Distinguished Service Cross of first class of the earnings/service medal of the Federal Republic of Germany, and carrier of the commander cross of the Ehrenlegion of the French republic.

Since 1962 it was married with his Mrs. Jeanne. It had three children.
