Heinrich Alwin (* 19. March 1908 in Hamburg; "† 1990 ebenda), Dr.jur h.c., were a German entrepreneur, owner of the company & CO. "“, President of the German industrie and commercial daily (1958-1962) and the Federal association of German banks (1968-1975) as well as owner of numerous further honorary offices of the German economy.

Family

came of to an old starting from 1816 Hamburg family of Lower Saxony of buyers and bankers and was the son of the entrepreneur, banker and repeated supervisory board member Hermann d.J. (1875-1950) and Elizabeth Waitz (1885-nach 1962).

He married on 18 August 1934 in Hamburg Gertrud Nolte (* 9 November 1914 in Hamburg), the daughter Hamburg attorney Dr.jur. Hans Nolte (1884-1940) and Elizabeth Siemsen (1890-1927).

The married couple had 4 daughters, under it daughter Birgit Breuel, and the son Hans Hermann private banker and management consultant.

Life

continued the family tradition with its training as the buyer and took over 1937 the paternal handels and private bank house "„ & CO. "“in Hamburg. According to over firm history separated only Alwin d.J. 1968 the handels from the bank business and became among other things personally responsible partner of the 1969 fused private bank Mnchmeyer, Hengst & CO."”.

In the course of its vocational career he transferred numerous posts and honorary offices within that Hamburg ones and the German economy. To it belong among other things:

of the Chamber of Commerce in Hamburg (until 1960), president of the German industrie and commercial daily (Bonn), president of the Federal association of German banks, member of the presidency of the German group of the international Chamber of Commerce (Cologne), member of the executive committee of the Federal association of the private bank trade registered association (Cologne), chairmen of the supervisory board of the north Germans insurance company (Hamburg) and the north German life assurance company (Hamburg), deputy chairmen of the supervisory board of the association bank (Hamburg), that Hamburg-of Bremen reinsurance AG (Hamburg), the lower saxony insurance AG (Hamburg), the leather works how/as man AG (Hamburg), member of the supervisory board the Blohm & Voss AG (Hamburg), the Bavarian association bank (Munich), that Union investment company (Frankfurt/Main), the Germanasiatic bank (Hamburg), the Kampnagel AG (Hamburg) and the German Maizena works GmbH (Hamburg).

is buried on the well-known Hamburg cemetery Ohlsdorf.

Architecturally interesting the family master seat is directly adjacent in Hamburg tears, on the former countryseat Axel Springer (country house Michaelsen). Core is today attainable the "“Luusbarg"”, a klassizistischer building, by the Wittenberger way. The two further still messuages in family estate (house of Birgit Breuel, house Lutteroth) can be attained by the Tinsdaler church way (extension of the Grotiusweg). In one of the two houses also in the meantime a branch was accommodated of B.A.U.M. (federal working group environmentally conscious management). This is used meanwhile by a member of a Nebenlinie of the (Lutteroth).
