Arthur Salomonsohn (* 3 April 1859 in Inowrazlaw; " 15 June 1930 in Berlin) was a German banker.
Salomonsohn was the nephew of the personally responsible partner of the Disconto society Adolph Salomonsohn. After a study of the jurisprudence also it occurred the Disconto society and became 1895 likewise personally responsible partner of the institute.
Salomonsohn was strongly in the financing of the rheinisch heavy industry, among other things involved as a chairman of the supervisory board of the Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG.
At the beginning of the Weimar Republic it supported Hugo Stinnes and Albert with their projects for the re-organization and vertical concentration of the German industry by the formation of communities of interests.
Salomonsohn faced the fusion of Disconto society and German bank in the year 1929 sceptically, became however after fusion of supervisory board chairmen of the new enterprise.
