The bank for Tirol and Vorarlberg, briefly BTV, 1904 based as corporation of the K.k granted privilege general traffic bank from Vienna, and came out among other things from an important Innsbrucker private bank.
In intermediate wartime the BTV took up further Tiroler of banks and developed themselves a strong market position in Tirol. With a surface covering and sufficiently dimensioned the BTV is today in Tirol and Vorarlberg firmly embodied. Since 1989 the BTV is represented also in Vienna and since July 2004 also in Switzerland. The shares of the BTV note since 1986 at the Viennese stock exchange. Special business emphasis exists for the BTV in the individual private customer business as well as in the business with self-employed persons and with the medium-size economy. The BTV is a Universalbank and offers beyond that further services over Koorperationspartner.
The bank for Tirol and Vorarlberg forms the so-called 3 banks group with the upper bank and the bank for and Steiermark. They are mutually involved in the capital that in each case different banks and use a common Corporate Design, are however nevertheless fully independent.
