The bank OF Nauru (BON; Bank of Nauru) is the public central bank of the Republic of Nauru. It belongs to the government. It was created 1976, when it took over the Nauruan banking transactions of the bank OF new South Wales. The bank has its seat in Civic the Centre in Orro/Aiwo, chairman of the banking company is Amos Cook.

The bank is already for years insolvent and illiquid, which one of the many consequences of the depletion of the island state is. No transactions are accomplished, since they do not have funds. The only further institution for bank is with Nauru internationally air haven, where Pacific bank a branch operates the cent ral.
