Carl (* 26. May 1850 in Solingen; "† 20. May 1915 in Berlin) was a German banker.

began its occupation way with the Bielefelder bank. 1879 it became executive committee of the Schaafhausen of' schen bank association in Cologne.

It was promoted to one the substantial Finanziers of the rheinisch heavy industry, in particular as close advisors of August Thyssen.

it changed 1900 as an executive committee to the German bank, to which it belonged until 1914. By it the bank gained a foothold also in West Germany, after their emphasis was convenient around Berlin before rather on the electrical industry. It justified also co-operation between German bank and Essener Credit institute.

It had large portion of the financing of the Thyssen group, the RWE, the Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG and the Germanof Luxembourg mine and huts AG.
