Carl Leopold Planck von Planckburg (*14. November 1802 in Linz; "† 17. 1868, ebenda) was a Austrian banker.

Life

After its training at poly-technical Institut in Vienna it took up a practical course with its uncle Josef Planck, in Linz, main place 16. A further followed between 1822 and 1825 in the wholesale house Springer and complete one in Triest.

As a landowner Planck was owner of the rule Feyregg, Piberbach and Weyer in the trusting quarter, oh leading and Hehenberg, as well as the office for tracing waking.

Since 1841 he was public partner and since the death of its father Franz Planck in the year 1844 the boss of the house J.M. Scheibenpogens Eidam, Linz, main place 11, which after its death 1869 were converted as corporation into the bank for upper Austria and Salzburg, upper bank. Starting from 1844 it belonged to the executive committee of the trading class as Merkantil and a change court assessor and advisory member of the Provinzialkommission.

1848 he was a major of the national guard and became 1849 curator of the again created general savings bank in Linz. 1850 were selected Planck to the local council and member of the Chamber of Commerce in Linz.

He was state parliament delegate of the liberals a party from 8 June 1861 to 22 December 1866.

1861 became it the knight cross of the Franz Joseph medal and the knight cross of the papal pc. - Gregorius medal lent.

Planck was married and had four children.
