Cash pool is a union of several German banks, which makes its customer possible to take off with all money automats of the member banks free of charge cash.

Among other things this group was created as answer to the customer-friendly unions of the savings banks (approx. 20,000 money automats Germany far), the people and Raiffeisen banks (approx. 18,000 automats in Germany) and the cash Group (approx. 7,000 German money automats) on initiative Citibank, the SEB and the savings since banks. Later some private banks, under it also many smaller banking houses were added.

The banks involved have at present more than 2,300 money automats in Germany.

Former members of the cash pool

• SchmidtBank KGaA, yard

Until 2004 also the SchmidtBank KGaA belonged to the cash pool. The SchmidtBank KGaA, which firmierte last as GmbH, came to end of the 1990er years into an economic inclination. 2004 were taken over the mark SchmidtBank by the Commerzbank AG and the branches of the SchmidtBank into Commerzbank branches was converted. The Commerzbank AG belongs to the ATM machine EN group cash Group.

• Bank of Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (German Federal Armed Forces bank), Stuttgart

By 31 June 2005 also the bank of Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (German Federal Armed Forces bank) belonged to the cash pool. By the assumption by the public Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg (LBBW) withdrew the German Federal Armed Forces bank from the cash pool. Since then customers of the German Federal Armed Forces bank can use the money automats of the savings banks free of charge.

• First Rosenheimer private bank AG, rose home

The first Rosenheimer private bank AG as an enterprise of the Kathrein group has the business with external customers to 31. March 2006 adjusted and thus also their membership in the cash pool terminates. The bank firmiert starting from 01 April 2006 as the first Rosenheimer financial service AG and will exercise excluding the company financing business of the Kathrein group.
