The central bank of Luxembourg (French: Banque Centrale you Luxembourg - BCL) is the central bank Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The bank was created on 23 December 1998 by law from 22 April 1998 and had up to the introduction of the euro the of Luxembourg monopoly to the expenditure of notes. She took over thereby the tasks 1983 created Institut of the Luxembourgeois (IML).

1999 became the BCL part of the European central bank.
