Christian fire (* 5 October 1949 in Dortmund) is a German bank manager. It is since 1 January of 2001 chairmen of the executive committee of the L-bank.

Personal record

After the Abitur and the training as the banker with the Westphalia bank he studied Augsburg to 1977 economic science at the university. Until 1992 he worked in the loan business and in the capital market business at the WestLB and at J.P. Morgan in Duesseldorf, London and Frankfurt.

1993 he was selected to the deputy chairman of the board of the state credit bank Baden-Wuerttemberg. It answered for the ranges Corporate Finance and Treasury. During separating the market part from the state credit bank and the fusion to the Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg to 1 January 1999 fire was intended according to press releases as a member of the board of the Landesbank. It remained however with promote-hurries the state credit bank, which effective 1 December 1998 to the again established L-bank one had transferred. 1 January 2001 the past chairman of the board of the L-bank Hans Dietmar sour, as with the fusion agrees, became chairman of the board of the Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg. Fire became its successor.
