Clemens Plassmann (* 2 February 1894 in goods village; "† 26 April 1970 in Duesseldorf) was a German banker and is enough time for member of the executive committees of Karstadt as well as the German bank. He is the son of the astronomer Joseph Plassmann (1859-1940).

Life

After study in Freiburg and participated Plassmann in the First World War. After following graduation it occurred 1921 the Dortmunder branch of the Barmer of bank association. As a convinced catholic it faced the national socialism from the outset critically. Soon he came also into contact with different resistance circles.
