Coface Germany is a credit insurer and an offerer of services in the demand management with seat in Mainz.

Enterprise background and business fields

The enterprise is the daughter of the Coface group in Paris, France, one of the world-wide largest credit insurance enterprises. In the business field Coface credit of the classical credit insurance are insured at home and abroad enterprises against demand losses. The three other societies of the Coface Germany offer services in the demand management:

• Coface finance the Factoring
• Coface debtors the demand introduction and collection as well as
• Coface Rating soil quality information to approximately 45 million enterprise in all world

The Coface group was evaluated of the Ratingagentur Moody's in the Insurance Financial Strength Rating with Aa3 and by Fitch Ratings with AA, the second highest evaluation stage.

History

The enterprise became to 19. March 1923 as Rheini warranty bank bail insurance share company of Mainzer buyers and a Frankfurt bank based, who were business purpose the in the German Reich, 1937 became the society Rheini warranty & Kautionsversicherungs A.G. umfirmiert. Starting from the autumn 1996 takes over Coface from France 50% of the portions of the society, which is renamed on 1 September 2002 to general credit Coface. Since 1 October 2002 the society belongs completely to the Coface group.

The societies of Coface Germany registered a conversion at a value of scarcely 300 million euro in the year 2004 also over 830 coworkers. The covering volume of the credit insurance amounted to approximately 70 billion euro with 260 million euro conversion. The Coface group altogether has 85,000 customers and transfers covering in over 150 countries. It has over 4.800 employees and obtained last an annual turnover of over 1.2 billion euro.
