De Nederland bank NV (DNB) (German: "The Netherlands bank AG ") is the central bank of the Netherlands.
The bank was created 1814 by king William I. and has the Netherlands monopoly to the expenditure of notes. The Netherlands state is exclusive shareholder at the corporation.
Up to the entry of the Netherlands in the year 1999 to the European economic and monetary union the central bank specified the key interest. The president of the bank is at the same time kroonlid Sociaal Economi Raads (SER). De Nederland bank has its seat in Amsterdam, until 1968 at the Turfmarkt, since then in an office tower at the Frederiksplein, which after a draft by Marius Duintjer from 1961 one established. The building stands for Volksvlijt on the place of the earlier Paleis voor. When the office tower had become too small, a round office tower was cultivated.

1999 became the DNB part of the European central bank. the bank with the Pensioen EN Verzekeringskamer fuses 2005.
The center of the DNB is in Amsterdam (Westeinde 1). Besides there are still four agencies: in the center, in Eindhoven, Hoogeveen and in Wassenaar.
