Edson Mitchell (* 19. May 1953 in haven country, Maine; "† 22 December 2000 in Rangeley, Maine) was a personality in the international financial world.

Edson Mitchell, a descendant of Swedish immigrants, buildup in very simple conditions. It studied economic science at the Colby college and to the Tack School OF Business of the Dartmouth college which it with a MBA locked.

After its study it entered with the bank OF America into Chicago and changed 1980 to Merrill Lynch to New York.
