Erwin Staudt (* 25 February 1948 in Leonberg) is a full-time president of the VfB Stuttgart.

Staudt studied economic science at the Universities of Stuttgart and Freiburg in mash gau. Its exam as a diploma political economist he put 1973 down.

Activity for IBM

Staudt occurred 1973 IBM Germany. 1982 he transferred his first task to Stuttgart as a high-level personnel, where it was responsible as sales directors for the customers of Baden-Wuerttemberg in the ranges financial administration, social security and power supply. It accompanied the positions directors/conductors of marketing projects in the head office as well as assistant later with the managing directors marketing and services.

1986 became Staudt director/conductor of the citizens of Berlin address IBM, 1989 transferred it as a plenipotentiary the line of the range communication/public work in the head office IBM Germany. Starting from July 1992 it was responsible for the entire German PC business. 1994 changed Staudt on the posts of the sales director and in this task to managing director IBM Germany information systems GmbH were ordered.

In October 1994 Staudt went first as a general manager for Competitive marketing, then as Vice President marketing into the European center IBM to Paris. From July 1995 until October 1998 it was world-wide responsible for the divisions "“basic industry"” and "“petroleum"”. From 1 November 1998 by 14 January 2003 was Erwin Staudt of chairmen of the management IBM Germany.

Activity for the VfB Stuttgart

On 26 June 2003 the members of the VfB Stuttgart Erwin Staudt selected to the president of the association. Staudt was already since its childhood fan of the VfB and since years member in the association. Since 22 September 2003 Staudt is a full-time president of the VfB Stuttgart.

Other

Since 1999 Staudt is honorary president of the initiative D21. It is supervisory board member Deutsche Bank AG, the alliance AG and the Hamburg Mannheimer Versicherungsgesellschaften.Der former linkoutside and chairmen of the TSV Eltingen engaged itself long years over honorary in the Amateurfussball.Staudt is married and has three children.
