The export import bank OF the United States ("“ex-in bank"”, "“Exim bank"” or "“Eximbank"”) is independent Kreditinstitut, who was created by congress of US.

It finances and/or insures the foreign trade of US-American goods for customers, who are not able or not will to carry the credit risks.

World-wide further banking houses exist named Eximbank, some with the same business model as the US bank, some also than private banks.
