The FinanzIT is one of three system houses of the savings bank banking syndicate with seat in Hanover.

With approximately 2,600 coworkers and consolidated sales profits of 723 millions euro (2004) is the FinanzIT GmbH with addresses in Berlin, Hanover, Leipzig and Saarbruecken the largest information technology Dienstleister for savings banks, Landesbank and national building societies in the German savings bank banking syndicate. Among the largest partners of the FinanzIT GmbH the association of savings banks Lower Saxony and the East German association of savings banks (ever 16.5%) rank, the NORD/LB (15.6%) as well as of Bremen the Landesbank (10.4%).

An important role possesses the FinanzIT at the ATM machine group of the European savings bank organization EUFISERV, which over 63.000 savings bank money automats in 12 countries covers. All authorizing inquiries with maps of the institutes of the savings bank banking syndicate to foreign money automats and all ATM machine transactions with maps from the partner countries at money automats of the savings bank banking syndicate are passed on over the central connecting knot of the FinanzIT computing centre in Hanover to the Instititut account-leading in each case.

History

The FinanzIT came out 2003 from the fusion of its four predecessor enterprises dvg, dvs, nbg and SIK, the partners dvg of the co-operation group.
