Franz S. Waas (* 19 November 1960 in Landau to the Isar) is a German bank manager.

Franz S. Waas buildup in Munich. After the Abitur 1980 it studied management economics. After the study it began its occupation way with the Bavarian association bank, for which it took over starting from 1994 executive functions on the Cayman Iceland and in New York. it changed 1999 to the Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg and 2001 into the executive committee of the Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein. Starting from the fusion of the Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein and the Hamburgi Landesbank to the HSH north bank on 2 June 2003 to at the end of of 2005 he was member in the executive committee of this Landesbank. Since 1 January 2006 he is chairman of the board of the DekaBank.

Franz S. Waas is married. It possesses both the German and the US-American nationality.
