Hans Friderichs (* 16 October 1931 in Wittlich) is a German politician (FDP).

It was from 1972 to 1977 Federal Ministers for economics.

Training and occupation

After the Abitur 1950 Friderichs completed a study of the jurisprudence, which he terminated 1959 with the second legal state examination. Already 1957 took place its graduation to the Dr. jur. It was then to 1963 managing directors industrie and of the Chamber of Commerce for Rhinehesse.

After the murder of the executive committee speaker of the Dresdens bank Ponto by a command of the RAF Friderichs occurred 1977 the executive committee of the Dresdens bank and officiated here from 1978 to 1985 as an executive committee speaker.

1983 came to Friderichs into the twilight of the repairing donation affair. The magazine of the mirrors had uncovered that the repairing company of funds at parties and it had paid intimate nonprofit organizations, without the payments had been correctly accounted for with the tax office. 1983 raised the public prosecutor's office accusation against it because of corruptibility. When it after-after 1985 an accusation because of tax evasion, Friderichs gave up to its bank post. On 16 February 1987 acquitted it Bonn regional courts of the reproach of corruptibility, condemned it however because of tax evasion to a fine.

Into its time as a supervisory board chairman of the Minol AG 1992 the Leuna affair fell.

Since that time it became quieter around Friderichs. Its influence in the economy is however still large. Of its office in Mainz out it exercises a long number of influential supervisory board mandates. The list reaches from Goldman Sachs Investment management GmbH over the Leica Camera AG and cutter Electric S.A. up to adidas Salomon.

A party

Since 1956 Friderichs is member of the FDP. From 1963 to 1964 he was deputy Federal business manager. From 1964 to 1969 he was then Federal business manager of the FDP. From 1974 to 1977 he officiated as deputy Federal leaders of the FDP.

Delegate

Until 1964 Friderichs was member of the Kreistages of being gene there and starting from 1960 of chairmen of the FDP parliamentary group. From 1965 to 1969 as well as from 1972 to 1977 he was member of the German federal daily.

Public offices

1969 were appointed Friderichs the undersecretary of state in the Ministry for agriculture, viticulture and forests of the country Rhineland-Palatinate.

After the election to the Bundestag 1972 he was appointed on 15 December 1972 in the second cabinet by Federal Chancellor Willy Brandt the Federal Minister for economics. It kept this office also under since 1974 of officiating Federal Chancellors the Helmut Schmidt. On 7 October 1977 Friderichs gave up surprisingly its office and changed into the executive committee of the Dresdens bank.
