Ignaz Petschek (* 14. June 1857 in "† 15 February 1934 in Aussig) was a banker, large coal dealer and a large-scale manufacturer.

1874 took up Petschek with the Prager bank association training as the banker. After completion of the teachings it received an employment with the sugar factory in Laun. Apart from the sugar production the factory used its railway situations for the selling of the brown coals of the basin. With its work he became acquainted with the increasing meaning of the coal in the Aussiger Kontor of the sugar factory and went 1880 into the independence.
