The ING Groep N.V. is a Netherlands all financial company in the form of a corporation with seat in Amsterdam.

The company developed in the year 1991 from a fusion of the insurer national Nederlanden with the NMB postal bank Group and called themselves after the union international Nederlanden Group (ING). The abbreviation ING became however in such a way admits that one changed the name accordingly.
