The Linzer banking house J.M. Scheibenpogens Eidam developed in the course 17. Century out of the commercial transaction of the old-established Linzer ship master family Scheibenpogen and went into 19. Century to the son-in-law (Eidam) of the former Linzer of mayor Johann Michael Scheibenpogen (II), Josef Planck, whose 1844 ennobled descendants, Planck von Planckburg, whom the private bank 1869 into a corporation the "“bank for upper Austria and Salzburg"” converted, mentioned "“upper bank"”. As such the bank exists today still.

A not inconsiderable number of members of the family Planck was in the country whether the Enns (upper Austria) in 19. and 20. Century also politically actively.

So Carl Leopold Planck von Planckburg, Eduard Planck von Planckburg, Hermann Planck von Planckburg and Karl (Karl man) Planck von Planckburg.
