Baron Jules Paul Benjamin Delessert, (* 14 February 1773 in Lyon; " 29 January 1858 in Paris), was a French banker, manufacturer and a scientist.
Delessert was the son of the banker Delessert (1735-1816), from a calvinistischen family, 1777 moved it with its family from Lyon to Paris, where the father became very successful in the trade and in the industry.
