The municipal savings bank Eschweiler was a savings bank of the city Eschweiler (North Rhine-Westphalia) from 1905 to 1942. See also: Eschweiler bank.

History

On 20 June 1905 the Eschweiler town councillor decides the establishment of an urban savings bank, and on 1 October 1942 this "“municipal savings bank Eschweiler"” fuses with the "“district savings bank Aachen"”.

"“Savings bank Aachen"” in Eschweiler

The roots of the savings bank Aachen go on the year 1885 as a year of the foundation for the "“district savings bank Aachen"” and the year 1901, in which the "“municipal savings bank at that time Aachen"” took up its business, back. On 24 July 1895 the "“district savings bank Aachen"” opens its first branch in Eschweiler.

With the fusion the circle and of the municipal savings bank on 1 January 1993 the "“savings bank Aachen"” largest independent Kreditinstitut is in the region

• Weisweiler (citizen of Berlin ring 7-9: Assumption of the district savings bank by the "“district savings bank"” Aachen on 1 July 1972, opening of the new building at the citizen of Berlin ring on 10 December 1974)
• The office in the new city hall, which to 28. March 1979 was opened, at the beginning of the 2000er years is closed.
