Nordea (Nordic Ideas) is a prominent financial company in Northern Europe and the Baltic with activities within the following divisions: Retail Banking; Corporate and Institutional Banking as well as ate management & Life.

The foundation-stone of Nordea 1997 put by the fusion of the up to then independent Finnish Merita bank and the Swedish north banks too: MeritaNordbanken.
