Norisbank the AG resulted on 9 April 1998 from fusion of Franconias WKV bank GmbH and the Noris consumer bank GmbH. It has its seat in Nuremberg and busily at present country widely about 1200 coworkers in 98 branches, 11 Shops and their center. Field of activity of the financial establishment is the consumer loan.

History

The roots norisbank go back into the year 1954. Starting from this year the distributing house offered the financing of its products to source over the Noris purchase assistance.

On 4 June 1965 the Noris credit bank GmbH was created. The was the extension of the financing of all goods offered of source and the subsidiaries in the dispatch and in the stationary range.

In the year 1969 the Noris purchase assistance firmierte to the Noris bank GmbH over. With the Umfirmierung accompanied an extension of the product range on bank services, like giro and savings accounts.

1984 fused the Norisbank GmbH with the consumer bank originating from Hamburg GmbH. Motive of the assumption of the up to then independent consumer bank GmbH was the additional purchase of the first German customer self-service system.

The Noris consumer bank GmbH was to at the end of 1997 part of the source company and to 19 June 1997 to the Bavarian association bank was sold. This united the Noris consumer bank GmbH with Franconias WKV bank GmbH (based 1950) by means of a fusion.

In January 1999 it came to the integration of the HYPO service bank AG (HSB), based 1991, into norisbank the AG.

After uncertainties in the year 2002, when the HypoVereinsbank thought about an integration norisbank of the AG into the own branch network, in December 2002 was decided to sell norisbank the AG. Since 1 October 2003 the DZ is BANK of new owners norisbank of the AG.
