The Provinzial northwest group of insurance came out from the fusion of the Provinzial with the Provinzial north (Kiel). Company nut/mother is the Provinzial northwest getting thing corporation, which (retroactively to 1 January 2005) developed on 9 September 2005 from the fusion of the Provinzial getting thing Westphalia and the Provinzial north getting thing AG. WPV, PNB and PNWL are 100%ige of daughters of the Provinzial northwest getting thing corporation. To the HFK are involved the PNB to 97 % and the PNWL to 3 %.

As service companies is the expenditure-created Provinzial northwest ate management GmbH for the administration of the investments and the Provinzial northwest information technology GmbH to be responsible for the data processing.

Beyond that still some smaller enterprises to the company and it belong exist various participation in other enterprises.

Co-operation with the savings bank insurance Stuttgart

It is intended, with the savings bank insurance Stuttgart co-operation in the area ate managements (investment) and the data processing to be received. For this are to be based common service enterprise. Details of co-operation are to time (2005) still inexplicably.
