The Raiffeisen central bank Austria AG. (RZB) is the third biggest Austrian bank. The balance sheet total of the RZB company was to at the end of of 2005 with approximately 94 billion euro. The RZB are subordinated the Raiffeisen special enterprises. For the bank activities in central and Eastern Europe international a its own, stock exchange-noted, subsidiary company exists in the context of the RZB company with Raiffeisen. The RZB is in the possession of the Austrian Raiffeisenlandesbanken and is member in the Austrian Raiffeisenverband, which draws among other things responsible for the protection of interests of the Austrian Raiffeisengenossenschaften. The largest portion to the RZB holds the Raiffeisenlandesbank Lower Austria vienna.

The Raiffeisen international (RI) is the Steuerungseinheit of the RZB company for those at present 16 network banks and numerous leasing daughters in central and Eastern Europe. 9,2 million customer by approximately 2,400 offices are cared for.
