The Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA is a German private bank with seat in Cologne.

History

The bank is created 1789 by the Salomon Oppenheim junior as commission and change house in Bonn. Oppenheim acts with goods, exchanges foreign sorts and assigns credits.

1989 are sold the participation at the Colonia insurance and the legal form of the bank is converted into a KGaA.

2004 take over Oppenheim the ING BHF bank of the Netherlands ING company, developed from the citizens of Berlin commercial company and the Frankfurt bank, which since then under the name "“BHF BANK - private since 1854"” firmiert.
