The savings since banks in Austria are today in three independent banks divided.

Already 1868 are created in Austria "„saving and advance consortium for the K&K the south course "“, which helped primarily railroadmen, who were guessed/advised in emergency. Only the Sparda Vienna is today no more loan bank separates a corporation, whose sole owner is the BAWAG P.S.K.

Had today 16 offices in upper Austria, Salzburg and one in the Steiermark. The bank has a balance sheet total of 244 million euro in the year 2004 (1999: 144 millions), savings deposit of 209 millions (1999: 118 millions) and credits over 73 millions assign (1999: 55 millions). The own resources ratio amounts to above average 14.2%.

The expansion over branches began only 1977 with a branch in Salzburg and persists until today. Also the balance constantly rises. 1 billion Schilling 1991 was reached, the 2 billion - border 1999.

Savings since bank Villach

Had today 11 offices in the Steiermark, Tirol, and Vorarlberg. The balance sheet total amounted to 2004 scarcely 240 million euro.

Savings since bank Vienna

The subsidiary of the BAWAG P.S.K. (to the difference to the two different a corporation) last a balance sheet total of 140 million euro has admits given.
