The Saxonian industrial railway company AG was created on 4 November 1905 by Deutsche Bank and the German Credit institute in Dresden.
It builds a normalspurige course, which of the district town Mittweida out industrial companies in the valley of the Zschopau to the main course Riesa - Chemnitz to tie up should. From the state railway yard Mittweida led the distance eastward into the deeply cut river valley down there. Before the bridge with distance kilometer of 4.8 was the industrial railway yard Mittweida, then it continued to go on the right bank 1.2 km river upward to. Passenger traffic was not first intended. But during the Second World War one served the strong rush hour with not public passenger trains starting from 1942. After the war the distance was registered, so occasionally even in the course book in the summer 1952, where under the No. 163 f on workdays three of pairs of courses to Mittweida industrial railway yard with intermediate stop at the Chemnitzer road are registered.
In the meantime "the Mittweida Dreiwerden Ringethaler railway ", which represented one of the completely rare private railway companies in the country Saxonia, had been subordinated, also to the German National Railroad. This still served the goods traffic after station Ringethal by 1 September 1969 and on the there distance to at the end of of 1973. Since 1978 also was not any longer started. To Mittweida industrial railway yard gives it however today still to goods traffic.
