The Slowaki central bank (Slowakisch: Banka Slovenska) is the central bank of the Slowaki republic with seat in press castle.

The central bank of the Slowakei (NBS) is an independent central bank. It was created on 1 January 1993 by law, which explains its legal position, functions and tasks. Primary giving and goals of the central bank up are: Price stability, money and credit policy, the expenditure of notes and the coins, control and coordinates from money circulation, interpayments through the bank as well as the monitoring of a sound development of the bank sector and the achievement of the banking operations.

Authorized by the government, the bank represents the slowakische republic in the international credit institutes and in the international money market negotiations, which are referred to the money and credit policy. The highest committee of the central bank is the governor; since 1 January 2005 Ivan Sramko. Vice-governors are Helena Kohutikova and Martin Barto. The Slowaki central bank has three addresses and six departments.
