The building society Swabian resound to AG is the building society of the genossenschaftlichen banks. It has its head office in the city of the same name Swabian resounds in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The selling of the products takes place particularly over the loan banks (people and Raiffeisen banks, savings since bank etc.).

The today's building society Swabian resound to AG 1931 in Cologne as as a "“German building saver AG, building saving and disencumberment cash"” of members of the there chamber of trade one based. After the shifting of the company headquarters to Berlin 1936 the German central cooperative cash and most commercial central funds took part in the enterprise, 1941 followed the people banks, since it was called "“building society of the German people banks"”. The enterprise seat was ausgebombt 1943, 1944 shifted one the enterprise with the saved business documents after Swabian resounds. The resolution for the retention of this city as company headquarters fell 1947. Since the transformation into common Bausparinstitut of the people banks and the Raiffeisenverbands 1956 the enterprise bears the name "“building society Swabian resounds to AG"”.

1997 took part Swabian resound in the establishment of the association active citizenry.
