The WGZ bank AG West German cooperative central bank (WGZ BANK) with seat in Duesseldorf is as Spitzeninstitut that approximately 240 people banks and Raiffeisen banks in the Rhine country as well as in Westphalia part of the genossenschaftlichen group of companies. Apart from the tasks, which she notices due to her function as Spitzeninstitut, the WGZ offers directly or over one of their subsidiary companies firm customers and capital market partners further bank products and services to BANK. The WGZ group of banks reached a balance sheet total of approximately 74 billion euro in the year 2005.
